Light Up Their Life

Local electrician Timmy O'Hanlon is spending Christmas in Kenya. While the rest of us are enjoying the festivities here he will be leading a team of locals in installing solar power in a school and orphanage in Nairobi. This much-needed facility will, among other things, provide mobile and internet communications to the school for the first time.

On Friday 9 November a special benefit gig is being held in Kielys to help Timmy to fund the project. Starting at 9 p.m. and starring The Donal Kirk Band and guests, admission is € 10 and all proceeds will go directly to the fund.
